Built in Dundalk. Backing Dundalk. Powering the Game Changers.

We’re proud to announce that The Unit has become the Official Technology Partner of Dundalk FC, signing a new multi-year partnership with the club.

For us, this marks the next chapter in a relationship that runs deep. We’ve backed the Lilywhites both on and off the pitch for years, and this agreement strengthens our commitment to a club and a town we’re proud to call home.

Built in Dundalk and now operating internationally, we’ve grown into a leading technology and development powerhouse, employing more than 150 people across Ireland, Moldova, New York City and Gibraltar, while staying firmly rooted in our hometown.

The partnership launched this week alongside a new campaign video celebrating the energy, identity and atmosphere of Oriel Park. Beginning with an empty stadium slowly coming to life, the film captures the moment the ground “powers on” for matchday, with The Unit woven naturally into the heartbeat of the club and the town.

The Unit was founded by lifelong Dundalk supporters Paddy Casey and Conor Durnin, and we’ve supported Dundalk FC since 2018 through sponsorship, creative production, commercial support and matchday partnerships. Behind the scenes, we’ve also played a key role in helping broker major commercial opportunities for the club, including record-breaking front-of-shirt sponsorship agreements. Over that time, we’ve become one of the club’s strongest local partners while continuing to scale internationally.

Speaking about the announcement, our co-founder Paddy Casey said, “Dundalk FC has always meant a huge amount to us personally, so becoming Official Technology Partner is incredibly special. We built The Unit in Dundalk and while the company has grown internationally across Ireland, Moldova, New York and Gibraltar, this town and this club will always be part of who we are. We’re proud of our journey from Dundalk to our expansion worldwide – however we draw the line at Drogheda!

“The energy around Oriel Park, especially on match nights, has always inspired us. That idea of powering game changers together feels like a natural fit for this partnership. We’re proud to continue backing Dundalk FC and excited for what comes next.”

Nita Whelan, Dundalk FC’s Chief Commercial Officer, welcomed the partnership: “The Unit’s support for Dundalk FC over many years has been exceptional and this new partnership is another hugely positive step for the club.

It’s especially meaningful to work alongside a company that was built in Dundalk and has gone on to achieve success internationally while continuing to invest back into the local community and football club. We’re excited to continue building together over the coming seasons.”

Across the coming seasons, our partnership branding will feature prominently throughout Oriel Park, including stadium signage, digital content initiatives and matchday activations.
